When Jacksonville Beach Electric Utilities recognized the lack of awareness for their company, they chose us to create and launch a new brand identity in 2002.
A majority of the residents in Jacksonville Beach, Fla., knew who their utility company was, but valuable customers in surrounding areas of Jacksonville Beach weren’t as aware. Extensive brand research sessions were conducted with both top management and staff. From these multiple sessions a brand essence and core brand identity was defined.
Television, newspaper, radio, customer newsletters, and a Web site were just a few elements that comprised the branding campaign. This yearlong effort included continuous newspaper and television ads.
Additionally, designers created a green-hosted Web site, complete with energy-saving tips for consumers. Check it out at www.beachesenergy.com.
