Great emphasis is placed on respect for natural materials, handcrafted beauty and quality workmanship.
This boutique, development firm debuted its first product line, Genevieve Place, in 2003. The intimate enclave of 17 homes featured authentically designed and crafted bungalows and cottages.
An award-winning campaign was created using magazine ads, billboards and a Web site to promote these charming homes. It created a dynamic new K2 Web site as well.
In a town that prizes its beloved old neighborhoods, these new old homes produced such a strong buzz that the development sold out ahead of schedule. The annual Parade of Homes honored the model with a Gold Award. How does it get better? Many local architects bought homes in the development.
K2’s latest project is Evening Rose, Tallahassee, Florida’s first Traditional Neighborhood Development (TND). Evening Rose will feature 99 home sites as well as a walkable, pedestrian friendly mixed-use village center adjacent to a variety of office, restaurant and retail establishments. This development spans 36 acres of majestic landscape located within the city limits, just moments from the heart of downtown Tallahassee.
The 13.6-acre Evening Rose Town Center will feature an entrance drive rimming an organic natural foods market, a mix of fine and casual dining, European boutique shops, a day spa and salon and additional small and medium office and retail amenities. The town center will gracefully cascade amongst beautiful existing live oaks. The plaza will create both a quiet refuge and hub of activity. Check it out at www.k2urbancorp.com.
