Beach erosion has been a serious issue in Florida's panhandle after the disasterous 2004 hurricane season. Nature Bridges is working with international experts to help return these habitats to their former states.
Nature Bridges specializes in top-down construction of timber bridges and pedestrian boardwalks through environmentally sensitive areas. Through the use of lightweight hydraulic impact and material handling equipment, in combination with hand driven auger machines, their top-down construction method means the only things that touch the ground are workmen, and the only things left behind are footprints and the new bridge.
Nature Bridges also constructs a wide variety of other development amenities, such as golf cart bridges, architecturally designed trellises, fencing, pavilions, decks and docks. Other amenities include Department of Transportation-approved timber curbing and guardrails, roadside walkways, and timber retaining walls for projects that require the warmth of wood instead of concrete and steel.
A dynamic new Web site was created for Nature Bridges, incorporating user-friendly architecture with a visual design that showcased the environment - www.naturebridges.com.
GreenKnology has worked with clients in a wide range of fields including nonprofit, public transportation and development. We take pride in helping each one reach its goal, serving as sound eco-minded communication council.
